.info names now available for general registraionWe are pleased to announce that as of 1 October 2001 we are now accepting live registrations for .info domain names.
As the first new top level domain ending in around 15 years, there are still lots of opportunities to secure good names. Also of interest is that .info is proving to be particularly strong in European markets, where companies have traditionally been unable to get their preferred .com addresses.
As at around 1 October there were already approximately 350,000 addresses secured in .info and this is expected to grow quickly over time as more people become aware of the new ending.
In addition to registering new .info names, we can of course also host web sites and create email addresses for you using your new .info addresses in the same was as for any other domain name ending.
