id.au domain name policy relaxed to allow nicknamesauDA has just adopted new policy for id.au domains which now allows the use of nicknames for your id.au domain.
This means that in addition to the usual exact match, abbreviation and acronym categories, an id.au domain name is a close and substantial connection if it:
a) includes, or is derived from, one or more words of the registrant's
personal name; or
b) is a name by which the registrant is commonly known (ie. a nickname).
